A dumpster rental connects several people and records: the customer and jobsite, the container, the delivery and pickup tasks, the driver’s field updates, and the invoice. NorthStar uses a company workspace to keep those parts of the operation together.
NorthStar’s company data and staff access are separate from Gravel’s public evaluation workspace. The public product tour uses fictional records, so prospective operators can explore the screens without seeing NorthStar customer information.
A rental, from booking through pickup
- Quote and book. Customers begin on NorthStar’s website with their dumpster size, material, rental length and delivery location. NorthStar sets its own prices and service rules.
- Prepare and dispatch. The office keeps the assigned container, jobsite instructions and driver work connected to the rental.
- Record the delivery. The rental clock begins when the dumpster is recorded as dropped. Driver updates and photos remain with the work.
- Finish the billing. Disposal records, included weight, applicable additional charges and invoices remain connected to the rental. Customers access their own records through NorthStar’s portal.
The company stays recognizable
NorthStar’s public site remains northstarrolloff.com. Its booking and account screens use NorthStar’s company identity. Gravel provides the operating software behind that experience.
That distinction matters for customers: they rent from NorthStar and contact NorthStar about their service. Another company evaluating Gravel receives its own setup and configures its own equipment, pricing and customer journey.
